Paul J. Riviere
PAUL J. RIVIERE, V, is a founding member of Rivere Cresci & Singer LLC. Before founding Riviere Cresci & Singer LLC, he was a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s office. He also worked for a well-known insurance defense law firm in Miami-Dade County. He has extensive experience in many facets of the law, enabling him to advise his clients on multiple matters on a variety of cases. Having both plaintiff and defense experience allows him to analyze each case from both sides and obtain maximum results for his clients. His primary practice includes Personal Injury, Consumer Bankruptcy, Criminal Law and Consumer Law.
He is member of many attorney organizations, including the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJ Trial Lawyers), Monmouth County Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Hayden Proctor Inn of Court. His membership in these organizations allows him to stay in close contact with his colleagues in the legal field, as well as stay on top of the ever changing laws in his primary areas of practice.
Mr. Riviere's devotion to the practice of law is furthered by serving as a Pool Attorney for the Public Defender’s Office since 2008. This experience has allowed him to gain valuable insight into the NJ Criminal Justice System. Mr. Riviere has represented both civil and criminal clients in Federal Court, Civil Court and Municipal Court.
Mr. Riviere received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the West Virginia University and his Juris Doctor Degree from the Saint Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Riviere was a recipient of an academic scholarship. His scholarly accolades in law school include a prestigious book award in the study of Property Law, as well as being on the Dean’s List. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Riviere resides in Monmouth County where he continues his endeavors to protect his client’s legal rights.
