Jonathan D. Singer is a founding member of the Singer Riviere Law Group. Prior to founding the group, Mr. Singer was in the real estate law department of a major retail corporation in New York City, where he worked on commercial lease and contract negotiations with developers and property owners. He has negotiated and drafted hundred’s of commercial leasing transactions.
Along with his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University – Newark, Mr. Singer also has a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University. During the course of his career Mr. Singer spent a number of years in the corporate world; he also was instrumental in developing start-up businesses in New York City. However, Mr. Singer always knew his passion was in the legal field. As such, Mr. Singer enrolled in law school, where he excelled in his academic pursuits. He was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship for his academic achievement.
Mr. Singer’s practice areas include commercial litigation, business matters, trust and estate planning, personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal law and family law. Mr. Singer has experience in a multitude of legal matters. He continually keeps himself on the leading edge of his practice areas with his membership in the New Jersey Association for Justice, the Monmouth County Bar Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to the bar in both New Jersey and New York. He is admitted to practice before the both the state courts of New Jersey and New York, as well as the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
